Art for Self-Discovery workshops are for those who are looking for creative outlets, have a curiosity about themselves, and are open to their own life’s journey.
From its very first painting class in 1998, Barbara Diane Barry’s Art for Self-Discovery introduced a unique and freer experience of making art based on process rather than result alone. Art for Self-Discovery offers imaginative courses in painting, journal keeping, mask making as well as clay sculpture. Barbara continues to support and nurture the creative exploration of adults, children, and families, by providing innovative ways to engage in problem solving and personal expression.
In Transition
Last October Barbara became Coordinator of Early Childhood and Family Programs at the South Street Seaport Museum, NY. During this transition period Art for Self-Discovery classes will be offered privately or on location throughout the city.
